Gerhard Mayer, studied psychology, sociology, philosophy and art history at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg. Doctorate (Dr. phil.) in psychology (University of Freiburg) on the subject of “Reception of occult representations in films”. Since 1996 Research Fellow at IGPP. He is editor of the Journal of Anomalistics / Zeitschrift für Anomalistik and the current president of the Parapsychological Association.
