Natasha Tassell-Matamua

Natasha Tassell-Matamua Ph.D., is an Indigenous scholar who, until recently, was an Associate Professor at Massey University, where she was the Founding Director of the Centre for Indigenous Psychologies, and served in senior academic leadership roles within the School of Psychology, including as Deputy Head of School. Her research sits at the intersection of Indigenous psychologies and exceptional human experiences, with a strong emphasis on the application of Indigenous knowledges to expand on existing understandings of exceptional experiences, with the intent being to effect meaningful change across health, well-being, environmental, and societal contexts.
