Dr. Sergio Saldívar-Salazar, MD, ScM is a physician (internal medicine and nephrology) and biostatistician with a long-standing career in clinical research, particularly in the evaluation of novel therapies for diabetes and metabolic disease. He has a sustained interest in the scientific study of anomalous and paranormal phenomena from a critical and methodologically rigorous perspective. He is currently affiliated as a Research Volunteer with the Division of Perceptual Studies at the University of Virginia, collaborating with Drs. Marieta Pehlivanova and Bruce Greyson on research related to near-death experiences.
