Dr. Wolfgang Fach, Dipl.-Psych., studied psychology and philosophy at the University of Trier and the University of Freiburg, Germany. He is a licensed psychological psychotherapist and received his doctorate (Dr. phil.) from the University of Bern, Switzerland. His doctoral thesis focused on conceptual approaches, empirical–phenomenological investigations, and plan-analytic case studies on mental representation in exceptional experiences (ExE). Since 1995, Dr. Fach has been a Research Fellow at the Institute for Frontier Areas of Psychology and Mental Health (IGPP), Freiburg. His work at the IGPP centers on counseling and psychotherapy for individuals with ExE, as well as on basic research and theory development in this field.
