Extrasensory Perception: Support, Skepticism and Science has won a Parapsychological Association Book Award.This two-volume tome, edited by Edwin May and Sonali Marwaha, will be a very important book and should be on the bookshelf of all serious readers of the literature of experimental parapsychology. Many will be surprised and pleased to find that skeptical viewpoints are well-represented in this work.
Volume 1 moves beyond the most commonly visible contributors to experimental parapsychology to review the work of emerging researchers as well as research happening in countries that are less generally well known.
Volume 2, focusing on theories of psi, is an essential resource containing several excellent overviews that are not available anywhere else. The reader will learn about how psi may be grounded in the observational theories, quantum mechanics, entropy, and/or subliminal perception.
